Woodland Kids

At Woodland Methodist Church, we want to make Jesus known and to come alongside parents as they raise up a new generation of followers of Jesus. From the infant who joins us in the nursery all the way up to a preteen joining our youth program, we are committed to helping children grow in their relationship with Christ.

Wednesday nights at Woodland are a blast! We meet from 6:30-7:30 (immediately following supper) for a fun but meaningful time of diving into the Bible, discussion, prayer time, and games and we end the night with gym play. We would love for your child to join in the fun!

Wednesdays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

What is Grow Time?

Grow Time is our version of Sunday school. We use Grow curriculum which covers every major Bible story in a 3-year time frame and then starts over! Our passionate desire is to help kids experience the love of Jesus. We do this by engaging with the stories of the bible, not just by reading it, but by immersing our kids in it. This is done through conversations, fun videos, questions, games, crafts, team challenges, and fun. We want to help our kids become deeply rooted in God’s word and fall in love with Jesus. Each volunteer is here to build meaningful relationships with all kids who come through our doors. Our volunteers are background checked and have undergone Safe Sanctuaries training.

Woodland Youth

Woodland Youth is the perfect place for your 7th - 12th grader to grow in their faith! Each week, students actively engage in contemporary worship at 9:15am before breaking into Sunday school classes from 9:30-10:15am where we take time in God's word to encourage one another.  Sunday evenings from 5-7pm is our biggest meeting - including dinner, fellowship and games - leaving students hungry for more!  Wednesday evenings we meet for supper with the whole church from 6-6:30pm, followed by a time of devotion and activities to make the week fly by! We dive deep into the Bible, how it applies to the life of a teen and how to live in a meaningful way that honors Jesus.  Each month, we focus on a new theme, some of which explore friendship, wisdom, repentance and more.

Wednesdays 6:30 pm -7:30 pm

Understanding
Your Grief

Have you lost a love one and don't know how to handle your grief?  A small grief support group can help.  The group helps you to understand the grieving process and provide emotional support.
