What is Confirmation? Very simply, Confirmation is the act by which a young person takes their next step in owning their faith. For many who were baptized as infants, Confirmation is the journey between “believing as my family does” and publicly stating “I choose to be a follower of Jesus!” Additionally, Confirmation is preparation for full membership in the church by profession of faith or by baptism (for those who were not baptized as infants).  We will plan to begin confirmation classes on Sunday, March 12. We will join the youth for supper at 5:00 and meet until 7:00 each time. There will be 5 meetings: March 12,19, 26, April 16, and 23 and will plan to have the service of Confirmation at the 10:30 service on April 30.
